Recycle My Cell Phone is a grassroots campaign that seeks to educate consumers about the impacts of their purchases, beginning with the extraction of raw materials through the end of product life.

EARTHWORKS, an environmental non-profit organization recycles or refurbishs your old cell phone using the highest environmental and social standards by partnering with e-Steward recyclers.

We are inviting others to participate and benefit from the campaign to achieve a critical mass and significantly increase the rate of cell phone recycling---to date, the industry and other collection campaigns combined have recycled 10% of retired cell phones.

Who is EARTHWORKS?

EARTHWORKS is a non-profit organization that works exclusively on resource extraction issues (i.e. mining, drilling and digging). We are leading this campaign to promote public and consumer awareness of the connection between products, their source, and the impacts of their use. We seek to energize public participation, in a hands-on fashion, on environmental issues that affect us all. And have fun doing it!
